GCP Pre-Sales Engineer

About this role: We are currently looking for a driven and entrepreneurial Sales Engineer who can leverage their experiences to directly impact the commercial effectiveness and sales performance attainment of our Google Cloud Platform products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from computer engineering and computer science departments
- 2+ years of experience in cloud computing solutions
- 4+ years of experience in systems or applications engineering
- Knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS cloud solutions
- Can build complex cloud solutions to support the sales team
- Ability to provide customer support within the scope of the proposed technical solution during the sales process
- Can develop new business and sales for existing customers
- Can customize solutions by working with customers’ technical staff
- Excellent communication and business relationship building skills
- Positive attitude and experience working towards strategic goals and targets
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to travel, if required
Responsibilities
- Assist sales team with preparedness and delivery of technical presentations and Statements of Work
- Advocate and demonstrate the value of the Google Cloud products and service offerings to prospective customers and support sales with required presentations
- Be a technical and business consultant to our customers before, during, and after the implementations
- Design and propose Google Cloud Platform based solutions for our customers based on their needs
- Prepare demos and Proof of Concept environments based on customer requirements
- Collaboratively work with sales, engineering, and customer relations internal teams
- Work with prospective and existing customers to explain new product features and effectively communicate their benefits to them
- Explore and understand complex customer requirements on both a business and technical level
- Understand competitor solutions and conduct benchmarking analysis
- Represent the company at conferences and trade shows, if required
