Google Workspace Sales Engineer

About this role: We are currently looking for a driven and entrepreneurial Sales Engineer who can leverage their experiences to directly impact the commercial effectiveness and sales performance attainment of our Google Workspace business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and track record of continuous professional growth
  • Technical background in engineering or computer science is a plus
  • Technical understanding of M365 (formerly O365), Google Workspace, and Microsoft Collaboration Solutions is a must
  • 4+ years of experience in a B2B environment with solutions and services related to recurring revenue, high volume, software as a service, databases, analytic tools, or applications software
  • Deep understanding of best practices regarding Google Workspace security, data governance, and Zero Trust
  • Good knowledge of SaaS Cloud Services
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Best-in-class presentation skills to C-level executives
  • Positive attitude and experience working towards strategic goals and targets
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel, if required

Responsibilities

  • Assist sales team with preparedness and delivery of technical presentations and Statements of Work
  • Advocate and demonstrate the value of the Google Workspace and service offerings to prospective customers
  • Be a technical and business consultant to our customers before, during, and after the implementations
  • Design and propose Google Workspace based solutions for our customers based on their needs
  • Prepare demos and Proof of Concept environments based on customer requirements
  • Collaboratively work with sales, delivery, engineering, and customer relations internal teams
  • Work in tandem with Google Cloud to understand new features and effectively communicate how they can help customers
  • Explore and understand complex customer requirements on both a business and technical level
  • Understand competitor solutions and conduct benchmarking analysis
  • Represent the company at conferences and trade shows, if required
