Senior Sales Manager

The ideal candidate has;

  • a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience; a technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus
  • minimum of 7 years’ experience of sales in a B2B environment, with solutions and services related to Recurring Revenue, High Volume, Infrastructure Software as a Service or Infrastructure as a Service, Databases, Analytic Tools, or Applications Software with a demonstrated track record in exceeding sales goals
  • excellent at leveraging CxO relationships to sell cloud solutions against competitors
  • understanding of cloud migration, hybrid platform modernization, data warehouse models
  • a consistent track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets
  • an extensive customer network
  • strategic and analytical thinking skills with the ability to plan, pitch and execute a start to finish sales strategy
  • a positive attitude and experience working towards strategic goals and targets
  • excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
  • ability to build influential relationships and create impact
  • excellent command of written and spoken English
  • excellent time management and organizational skills
  • ability to travel as required

Job Description

  • To build and deepen executive relationships with customers, and bring mature CxO relationships to help grow into new organizations
  • To influence long-term strategic direction, and serve as a business partner
  • To negotiate and manage end-to-end complex sales-cycles, often presenting to C-level executives in corporate/enterprise customers
  • To build a robust sales pipeline and conducting regular prospect visits to increase cloud sales
  • To identify new market opportunities and engaging with prospects across industries, company sizes, and types to determine needs and identify opportunities to fulfill these needs
  • To generate new leads through planning campaigns, events, and demos and conducting personal campaigns to discover new opportunities
  • To handle prospect queries in a timely and efficient manner
  • To understand competitor solutions, benchmarking
  • To attend conferences and trade shows as required
  • To drive revenue and market share, work with partners to extend reach and accelerate customer adoption
  • To meet or exceed weekly, monthly, quarterly revenue targets
