At Kartaca, we support our employees in determining their own most productive working hours. In our Istanbul office, we have adopted a flexible working model, allowing our team to carry out their tasks under the most suitable conditions. For us, it’s not about what time you start your day but rather how effectively the work is done. Thanks to our flexible working model, we can start our day between 07:00 – 10:00, complete our 8-hour work schedule, and then plan the rest of the day as we see fit. Our breaks are entirely based on our individual needs.
Moreover, with our hybrid working model, we come to the office once a week, spending face-to-face time with our colleagues to maintain team spirit. This way, we not only socialize but also ensure more effective collaboration by coming together in an office environment.
On other days, you can work from wherever you feel most comfortable! Whether it’s outside the city, at home, or in a quiet café, the choice is yours. Our priority is for you to find the environment where you can work most efficiently and comfortably. If you prefer an office setting, our office is open for you every day!

Flexible Working Arrangement
Do you prefer starting your day early, finishing your work quickly, and avoiding evening traffic? Or would you rather start a bit later and keep your energy for the evening hours?
If you feel energetic in the mornings, you can start work at 07:00, complete your eight hours, and enjoy the rest of the day. Beginning your morning with exercise, grabbing a coffee, and heading to the office sounds like a great start, doesn’t it? (Honestly, it’s one of my favorite routines! 😊) Or do you want to leave the office early on Friday afternoons and kickstart your weekend? That’s possible too!
What if mornings are a bit too early for you? If you work better at evenings and find it hard to stay motivated in the early morning, you can start at 10:00 and work at your own pace. This system allows you to adjust your schedule according to your mood, daily flow, and job requirements, offering an excellent opportunity for work-life balance.

Breaks Are Ours to Decide
When we take breaks and how long our lunch breaks last are entirely up to us! You can have a single meal and finish work early or take long coffee breaks with your colleagues to recharge throughout the day. Whether you take a long walk during lunch or opt for short breaks to stay productive, at Kartaca, we plan our working hours in the way that suits us best!
Freedom in the Office
Even if we work in the office, we have the flexibility to go outside for up to 3 hours during the day. Whether it’s getting some fresh air, handling personal errands, or working in a different environment, this flexibility helps us maintain a work-life balance, boosts motivation, and prevents burnout.
Right to Start Late or Leave Early When Necessary
Life doesn’t always go as planned. At Kartaca, up to 8 hours of reduced working time per month can be accommodated without any salary deduction in case of important or unavoidable situations. Do you have something urgent to take care of in the morning? Do you need to attend your child’s school meeting? Or perhaps you need to finish your workday early due to a family emergency? In such cases, you can notify our HR system and adjust your working hours accordingly. If you want to make up for the lost hours, you can also work up to 4 hours on the last Saturday of the Month. Flexibility is not just about hours; it’s about adapting to real-life situations!
